Why Phoenix Bodies Run on Empty
Living in Phoenix is a gift. Three hundred plus days of sunshine. Mountain views. The kind of weather most of the country dreams about for nine months of the year. The trade-off? You are losing water all day long without realizing it.
The desert is dry. The heat is intense. And the air pulls moisture right out of your skin and lungs even when you are sitting indoors. Most Phoenix residents are walking around mildly dehydrated all the time. The signs are easy to miss — low energy, foggy thinking, headache that comes and goes, dry skin, poor sleep. You drink water and feel a little better. But never quite full.
That is where IV hydration comes in. A bag of sterile fluid plus electrolytes goes straight into your bloodstream. Your body absorbs it almost completely, almost right away. There is no waiting. No working through your gut. Just clean, fast hydration that hits hard and lasts.
Our Hydration IV is the most affordable drip on our menu and one of the most popular. It is the perfect first-time IV. The right fix for a brutal heat day. And a smart reset before a hike, a flight, or a big event.

Inside the Hydration IV
This drip is intentionally simple. Pure fluids and electrolytes — the foundation your body needs to function well. No vitamins, no medications, no extras unless you want them as add-ons.
Sterile Saline (1 Liter)
A liter of medical-grade fluid. About four times what your body absorbs from a single glass of water, all delivered in under an hour. The base of every hydration drip and the most direct way to refill your tank.
Electrolytes
Sodium, potassium, and other key minerals your body uses for muscle function, nerve signaling, and cellular hydration. When you sweat, breathe in dry air, or drink alcohol, you lose electrolytes faster than you lose water. Replacing them is just as important as the fluid itself.
Optional Boosters
Want to take your hydration further? Most clients add a vitamin or two for an extra benefit.
- Popular pairings include:
- B-Complex for energy and clarity
- Vitamin C for immune support
- Magnesium for muscle relaxation
- Glutathione for skin and detox
Is the Hydration IV Right For You?
You Live or Work in Phoenix
If you spend any real time outdoors here, you are probably running on a hydration deficit. Construction workers, golfers, hikers, runners, golf course employees, and anyone in real estate or sales who is out and about — all great candidates.
You Just Got Off a Flight
Plane cabins are dry. Long flights leave you dehydrated, foggy, and stiff. A hydration IV at your hotel or home after landing puts you back on your feet in under an hour. Many of our visitor clients book this as their first stop in Phoenix.
You Have a Big Hike Planned
Camelback. Piestewa. The Lost Dutchman trails. Phoenix hiking is unforgiving in the heat. Pre-hydrating with an IV the day before a big hike helps your body start ahead — and many seasoned hikers swear by it.
You're New to IV Therapy
If you have never tried IV therapy and want to see what the fuss is about without committing to a bigger drip, this is the one. Affordable, gentle, and effective. Most clients leave already planning their next visit.
You Spent a Day in the Sun
Pool day. Lake day. Spring training game. Sunday Funday on the patio. Long days of sun and heat add up fast in Phoenix. The hydration IV is your reset.
You're Pre-Loading Before a Night Out
Hydrating before drinking is one of the most underrated wellness moves there is. A pre-night IV gives your body a head start and softens the next-day damage.

Why an IV Hydrates Faster Than Water
When you drink a bottle of water, your stomach has to process it before your bloodstream can use it. Your body absorbs about 60 to 70 percent of what you drink, and it takes hours. The rest is just passing through.
An IV skips all of that. Fluids go straight into your bloodstream, where every cell in your body can use them right away. The absorption rate is close to 100 percent and the effects start within minutes. By the end of the drip, your body has absorbed about a liter — the equivalent of nearly four cups of water, all going to work in under an hour.
That is why people feel the shift so fast. You are not just hydrating. You are correcting a deficit your body has probably been carrying for days or weeks.
The Phoenix Heat Multiplier
Heat does not just make you sweat. It also raises your heart rate, speeds up your breathing, and pulls moisture out of every surface of your body. In the summer, an active person in Phoenix can lose 1 to 2 liters of fluid per hour. That is faster than most people can drink. The IV is the only realistic way to keep up.
How Every Visit Works
Step 1
Before Your Visit
First-time clients complete a quick Good Faith Exam with our Medical Director or a contracted provider. It is a short virtual or phone consult and you only do it once. Your clearance is good for up to a year.
Step 2
Your Nurse Arrives
A registered nurse comes to your home, hotel, office, or our Biltmore studio. They bring the IV kit, the bag, and everything else needed. You do not need to prep anything beforehand.
Step 3
Setup and Insertion
Your nurse arrives with everything ready. They check your blood pressure, walk you through what to expect, and find a comfortable spot for the IV. Insertion takes about 30 seconds.
Step 4
The Drip
The Hydration IV runs about 30 to 45 minutes — one of our shorter drips. Many clients use the time to read, watch a show, or just close their eyes. You may feel a cool sensation as the fluid moves in. That is normal.
Step 5
After Your Drip
Most clients feel sharper, more energized, and less foggy right away. The benefits typically last 24 to 72 hours, depending on your activity level and how much water you keep up with
afterward.
Customize Your Hydration

B-Complex
Add the energy and mood lift of all eight B vitamins to your hydration drip. A favorite for clients prepping for a big day or recovering from a hard week.

Vitamin C
Boost your immune support and antioxidant protection alongside the fluid. Great during cold and flu season or before travel.

Magnesium
Adds muscle recovery and stress relief support. Pairs especially well with hydration after long workouts, hikes, or stressful weeks.
Hydration IV Questions, Answered
How fast will I feel hydrated?
Most clients feel a noticeable shift within 15 to 20 minutes. By the end of the drip, the foggy feeling, headache, and low energy that come with dehydration are usually gone. The effects last 24 to 72 hours depending on your lifestyle.
How is this different from drinking a lot of water?
Drinking water hydrates you slowly and incompletely. Your body absorbs about 60 to 70 percent of what you drink and it takes several hours. An IV puts a full liter of fluid plus electrolytes straight into your bloodstream where your cells can use almost all of it right away. The difference is dramatic.
Do I need to be dehydrated to book a hydration IV?
No. Many clients book hydration IVs as prevention — before a long flight, a hike, an outdoor event, or a night out. Pre-hydrating gives your body a head start and helps you feel your best.
Is this the right IV for hangovers?
If your hangover is mild, the hydration IV will help. If you are dealing with significant nausea, headache, or body aches, our Hangover IV adds anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory support specifically for those symptoms. Many clients book the hydration IV as a milder, more affordable
option.
Can I add vitamins to my hydration IV?
Yes. The hydration IV is a great base for booster add-ons. B-complex, vitamin C, magnesium, and glutathione are the most popular additions. Just let your nurse know what you want.
How long does the drip take?
About 30 to 45 minutes from start to finish. One of our shorter IVs.
Where can I get my hydration IV?
Wherever is easiest. Most clients book at home, but we also come to hotels, Airbnbs, offices, gyms, and our Biltmore studio. Anywhere in our Phoenix metro service area works.
Is the hydration IV safe?
Yes. Every drip is overseen by our Medical Director and given by a registered nurse. We use sterile, single-use supplies and follow strict clinical standards. Side effects are rare and usually
mild.
Can I get a hydration IV during pregnancy?
In many cases yes, but every situation is different. We require approval from your OB or primary care provider before any IV during pregnancy. Reach out and we will walk you through the process.
Is the hydration IV covered by insurance?
No. IV therapy is considered an elective wellness service. We accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA in most cases. Members save up to 40% on every drip.
