Recover Like the Pros
Phoenix has one of the most active populations in the country. Trail runners on South Mountain. Cyclists on the canal paths. Golfers at TPC Scottsdale. Hikers on Camelback. CrossFitters, marathoners, weekend warriors, and pro athletes who train here for the climate. The desert lifestyle demands a lot from your body — and the heat makes recovery even harder.
That is where IV recovery comes in. After a hard workout, a long event, or even a few stressful days at work, your body is running low on the things it needs to repair itself. Fluid. Electrolytes. Amino acids. Antioxidants. You can rebuild some of that with food, water, and rest. But it takes days. An IV puts the missing pieces back in under an hour.
Our Recovery IV is built for the moments when you need to bounce back fast. After race day. After a long hike. After a hard training week. After a tournament. After back-to-back workouts. Most clients walk away feeling lighter, less sore, and ready to go again sooner than they expected.

Inside the Recovery IV
Our recovery blend hits the four pillars of athletic recovery: hydration, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. Each ingredient supports a specific part of how your body repairs after stress.
Sterile Saline & Electrolytes
A liter of fluid plus the key electrolytes you lose in sweat — sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. The base of every recovery drip. Hydration after intense exercise is one of the most important factors in how fast your body bounces back.
Amino Acid Blend
The building blocks your muscles use to repair themselves. Our blend includes the branched- chain amino acids (BCAAs) leucine, isoleucine, and valine, plus other key aminos that support muscle recovery, reduce soreness, and help with energy production. Studies have linked IV amino acid delivery to faster recovery times and reduced muscle damage.
B-Complex Vitamins
All eight B vitamins. They support the energy production your cells need to repair after exercise. They also help with mental clarity and mood — the parts of recovery that often get overlooked.
Vitamin C
A powerful antioxidant that helps your body manage the oxidative stress of intense exercise. Also supports collagen production for tendons and joints — a quiet but important part of long- term recovery for active people.
Magnesium
Critical for muscle relaxation, sleep quality, and stress recovery. Most active people are running low on magnesium without realizing it. Restoring it is one of the most-felt parts of the recovery drip.
Optional Boosters
- Glutathione for cellular protection and detox
- Extra B12 for added energy and stamina
- Anti-inflammatory support for serious soreness or injury recovery
Is the Recovery IV Right For You?
You Just Finished a Race or Event
Marathon. Half-marathon. Triathlon. Tough Mudder. Spartan. CrossFit comp. Golf tournament. Whatever the event, the day after is when your body needs the most support. Booking a recovery IV the morning after race day is one of the smartest moves an athlete can make.
You Train Hard and Want to Train Again Sooner
If you are training for something big or just lifting hard several times a week, recovery becomes the limiting factor. The faster your body bounces back, the more often you can train, and the more progress you make. Many of our serious-athlete clients book recovery IVs weekly or biweekly.
You Spent the Day on the Trails or Course
Hiking the Phoenix mountains is no joke, especially in the heat. Same with 18 holes in 100- degree weather, or a long ride on the canal. The recovery IV puts back what the day pulled out of you and helps you wake up the next morning feeling ready to go again.
You're a Weekend Warrior
Two-hour basketball game on Saturday. Pickleball tournament Sunday. By Monday you can barely walk. The recovery IV helps you avoid the multi-day soreness slump that comes from going hard after a week behind a desk.
You're Recovering From an Injury
If you are nursing a strain, sprain, or post-procedure recovery, the amino acids and anti-inflammatory support in this drip can help your body repair faster. We always recommend pairing it with proper medical care from your provider.
You Just Had a Brutal Week
Recovery is not just for athletes. If you have been pulling 14-hour days, traveling for work, or just running on empty, your body is using the same repair systems an athlete uses. The recovery IV helps.

The Science of Faster Recovery
When you push your body hard, three things happen at once. You burn through your fluid and electrolyte stores. You create microscopic tears in your muscle fibers — the kind that get rebuilt stronger but cause soreness in the meantime. And you produce free radicals, the unstable molecules that cause oxidative stress and slow recovery.
Eating well, hydrating, and sleeping helps your body fix all three. But it takes time. The faster you can replace what you lost, the faster you bounce back. That is the whole game of recovery. An IV is the fastest way to replace fluids, amino acids, and antioxidants because everything goes straight into your bloodstream. Your body absorbs almost the full dose. Your cells get what they need within minutes. The repair work that would take days starts in hours.
Why Phoenix Athletes Recover Differently
Why Phoenix Athletes Recover Differently Heat stresses the body in ways that cooler-climate training does not. Your heart works harder. Your sweat output is higher. Your fluid and electrolyte loss is much greater. Many Phoenix athletes find their recovery times are longer here than they were back home — and the recovery IV is one of the most effective ways to even the playing field.
Your Recovery Visit, Start to Finish
Step 1
Before Your Visit
First-time clients complete a quick Good Faith Exam with our Medical Director or a contracted provider. It is a short virtual or phone consult and you only do it once. Your clearance is good for up to a year.
Step 2
Your Nurse Arrives
A registered nurse comes to your home, hotel, gym, office, or our Biltmore studio with everything ready. Many athlete clients book the drip right at the gym or training facility for maximum convenience.
Step 3
Setup and Insertion
Your nurse will check your blood pressure, ask a few questions about your training and how you are feeling, and find a good spot for the IV. Insertion takes about 30 seconds.
Step 4
The Drip
The Recovery IV runs about 45 to 60 minutes. Use the time to stretch, foam roll, scroll your phone, or just close your eyes. Many clients say the drip itself feels restful — a quiet hour of forced recovery in the middle of a busy day.
Step 5
After Your Drip
Most clients feel less sore and more energized within hours. The full recovery support builds over the next 24 to 48 hours as the amino acids and vitamins reach your cells. Many athletes notice they can train sooner and harder than they could without the drip.
Stack Your Recovery

Glutathione
The master antioxidant. Helps your body manage the oxidative stress of hard training and supports cellular repair. A favorite pairing for endurance athletes.

Anti-Inflammatory Support
Generic, FDA-approved anti-inflammatory medication that can be added to your drip if you are dealing with serious soreness or injury recovery.

Extra B12
Already in the drip, but a higher dose can take the energy lift even further. Great if you are training through a long block and need more juice.
Recovery IV Questions, Answered
How fast will I feel less sore?
How fast will I feel less sore?
Most clients feel a noticeable shift in soreness and tightness within a few hours of the drip. The full recovery effect builds over 24 to 48 hours. Many athletes report being able to train hard the next day instead of two or three days later.
Should I get a Recovery IV before or after a race?
Both can help, but most clients see the biggest impact the day after a race or event. Pre-race, hydration and B-complex are the priorities — our Hydration IV with B-complex booster is often a better fit. Post-race, the amino acids and antioxidants in the Recovery IV are exactly what your body needs.
Can I get a Recovery IV at the gym?
Yes. We come to gyms, training facilities, sports clubs, and even tournament venues with venue permission. Many of our athlete clients book the drip on-site after a workout.
How often should I get a Recovery IV?
It depends on your training load. For serious athletes in heavy training, weekly or biweekly is common. For weekend warriors, once a month or after big events works well. For parents or busy professionals using it for general recovery, monthly is a great rhythm.
How is this different from drinking a recovery shake?
A shake delivers nutrients through your gut, where absorption is partial and slow. An IV puts the same nutrients straight into your bloodstream where your cells can use almost all of them right away. The difference is dramatic — minutes versus hours, and full absorption versus partial.
Are there any side effects?
The Recovery IV is generally well-tolerated. The most common feedback is a vitamin taste in your mouth during the drip (totally normal) and mild warmth as the magnesium moves through. Some clients feel a strong amino acid taste as well. These all pass quickly.
Can I add anti-inflammatory support to my drip?
Yes. We offer a generic, FDA-approved anti-inflammatory medication as an add-on if you are dealing with serious soreness or injury. Your nurse can talk through whether it is the right fit for you.
Is the Recovery IV safe?
Yes. Every drip is overseen by our Medical Director and given by a registered nurse. We use sterile, single-use supplies and follow strict clinical standards. We screen for any conditions that would make recovery IV not a good fit.
would make recovery IV not a good fit. Can I work out right after my Recovery IV?
You can, but we usually recommend taking the rest of the day a little easier and letting your body absorb. The drip works best when you give it some time to do its job. The next day, you are usually ready to train hard again.
Is the Recovery IV covered by insurance?
No. IV therapy is considered an elective wellness service. We accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA in most cases. Members save up to 40% on every drip.
