When the Migraine Hits Hard

Migraines are not just headaches. They are full-body events. Throbbing pain. Light sensitivity. Sound sensitivity. Nausea that makes pills almost impossible to keep down. For many people, migraines also come with dehydration, and dehydration makes everything worse.

When you are deep in a migraine, the last thing you want to do is drive to a clinic or fight to keep down a pill. That is where mobile IV therapy fits. Our nurse comes to you. The room can stay dark. The sound can stay low. You stay still while hydration, vitamins, and anti-nausea support move into your bloodstream.

RN every visit. Medical Director every protocol. The setup is calm and the relief is fast.

What an IV Can Do During a Migraine

Migraines often involve dehydration, magnesium drops, and stress on the nervous system. The right IV addresses all three at once.

  • Hydration replenishes fluids your body needs to recover
  • Magnesium helps relax tense muscles and calm the nervous system
  • B-complex supports energy as you bounce back
  • Anti-nausea support helps when keeping pills down is hard
  • Anti-inflammatory support can reduce pain pressure

Migraine IV Options

Hangover IV

Built for headaches and dehydration. Anti-nausea, anti-inflammatory, hydration, and B-complex. Often the first stop for migraine relief.

Hydration IV

Pure hydration with electrolytes. Best when dehydration is the main migraine trigger.

Stress Less IV

Magnesium-rich blend that calms the nervous system. Good for tension-related migraines.

Important: When to Call Your Doctor

IV therapy supports your body during a migraine but it is not a substitute for medical care. Migraines that are sudden, severe, or different from your usual pattern need a doctor's evaluation.

If you have any of these symptoms, call your doctor or go to urgent care:

  • The worst headache of your life
  • Sudden onset with no warning
  • Headache with stiff neck, fever, or rash
  • Headache with weakness, vision loss, or trouble speaking
  • Headache after a head injury

Headache that keeps getting worse over days

Migraine IV Therapy Questions, Answered

  • How fast will the IV help my migraine?

Most clients feel a real shift within 15 to 30 minutes. Hydration is fastest. Magnesium and pain support build over the next hour.

  • Can I get an IV during an active migraine?

Yes. Many of our clients book during an active migraine. Your nurse can keep the room dark and quiet during the drip.

  • Will the IV cure my migraine?

It will not cure it, but it can help your body recover faster and reduce the worst of the symptoms. Most clients feel meaningfully better by the end of the drip.

  • Are migraines a sign I need IVs more often?

Frequent migraines can be linked to chronic dehydration or low magnesium. Some clients find that a regular monthly IV cuts down on migraine frequency. Talk to our Medical Director about a plan that fits.

  • Can I take my migraine medication at the same time?

In most cases, yes. Tell our Medical Director during your Good Faith Exam which medications you take. They will confirm the IV is safe for you.

  • Do you offer same-day IVs for migraine relief?

Yes. Same-day mobile IVs are usually available within 1 to 2 hours of booking. Phone us at (480) 674-8268.
