Real Support for the Healing Phase
Recovery from surgery is hard work for your body. Tissues need to heal. Swelling needs to clear. Hydration matters more than ever. On top of that, the meds used during surgery can leave you feeling drained, foggy, and off your usual baseline.
Mobile IV therapy supports the healing phase. The IV gives you hydration, vitamin C, and amino acids in a form your body can use right away. Our nurse comes to your home. You stay where you are healing. The IV runs gently. RN every visit. Medical Director every protocol.
Important: We always need your surgeon's clearance before a post-op IV. This is not optional. The IV is meant to support medical care, never replace it.
What an IV Can Do for Post-Surgery Recovery
Healing pulls a lot out of your body. The right IV gives it back.
- Hydration supports every cell in the healing process
- Vitamin C is essential for collagen and tissue repair
- Amino acids fuel muscle and tissue rebuilding
- B-complex restores energy as you ease back into your routine
- Anti-inflammatory support helps reduce post-op tension and discomfort
Post-Surgery IV Options

Recovery IV
Built for healing. Amino acids, B-complex, hydration, and vitamin C. The most-booked drip after surgery.

Vitamin C 25g IV
Higher-dose vitamin C for deep tissue repair. Requires G6PD testing before first dose.

Hydration IV
Pure hydration with electrolytes. Good for clients in early recovery before higher-dose IVs.
Important: Your Surgeon Comes First
IV therapy is supportive care, not a replacement for medical follow-up. Always call your surgeon, your primary care doctor, or 911 if you have:
- Fever above 101°F or chills
- Increasing pain at the surgical site
- Swelling, redness, warmth, or drainage from the incision
- Trouble breathing or chest pain
- Severe headache
- Vomiting that does not stop
- Any symptoms your surgeon told you to watch for
Post-Surgery Recovery IV Therapy Questions, Answered
Do I need surgeon clearance before the IV?
Yes. We require surgeon clearance before any post-surgery IV. This is non-negotiable. The clearance can come by email, phone, or written note.
How soon after surgery can I get an IV?
Depends on the surgery and your surgeon's clearance. Some clients are cleared within 48 hours. Others wait a week or more. We follow your surgeon's timeline.
Will the IV interfere with my pain medications?
Tell our Medical Director during the Good Faith Exam which medications you take. They will confirm the IV is safe with your specific medications.
Can the IV help with post-surgery fatigue and brain fog?
Yes. The B-complex and amino acids support energy and clarity. Many clients say the IV helped them feel more like themselves during recovery.
How often should I do recovery IVs after surgery?
Depends on the surgery. Some clients do one IV per week for 2 to 4 weeks. Others do one as a one-time boost. Our Medical Director will recommend a plan that fits your recovery.
Are there surgeries where IV therapy is not appropriate?
Yes. Some surgeries call for fluid restriction. Some have specific timing rules. Some may have drug interactions. Always check with your surgeon first.
