Why I Do This Work

[PERSONAL NOTE FROM DR. WEISS — 2 to 3 short paragraphs in his own voice. Topics that work well for an IV therapy audience: how he thinks about wellness IV therapy as part of integrative medicine, what he looks for when reviewing IV protocols, what safety means to him, and what he wants every Good Life IV client to know.]

[OPTIONAL: A signature-style closing line, e.g., "My job is to make sure every IV that runs in our care is safe and useful for the person getting it. After 25 years in cardiology, I take that responsibility seriously. So does our team."]

— Dr. Decker Weiss, NMD, FASA, Medical Director

Why Dr. Weiss Brings Something Different to IV Therapy

Most IV therapy clinics use a Medical Director who reviews protocols by email between other clinical work. Dr. Weiss brings something different. He was the first integrative cardiologist in the United States. He is dual trained as a naturopathic physician and a cardiologist. He spent a decade on staff at Arizona Heart Hospital. He has published more than a hundred articles and research papers. He has reviewed cardiac safety for tens of thousands of patients.

That matters for IV therapy. The right IV is more than a wellness boost. It is a substance going into your bloodstream. The wrong dose, or the wrong drip for your health, can stress your heart or interact with your meds. Dr. Weiss reviews every protocol with that exact lens. The IVs we offer are safe because of who is reviewing them.

It also matters because Dr. Weiss thinks about wellness differently than most physicians. His career has been built on the idea that natural medicine and conventional medicine are not at odds. They are complementary. IV therapy is a perfect example. The right IV gives your body real nutrients in a form it can use right away. The wrong one wastes your money or risks your safety. The difference is in the protocol, the supervision, and the medical director.

Real Clinical Oversight, Every Drip

Every Protocol Is Reviewed

Dr. Weiss reviews and approves every IV protocol we offer. From our most basic Hydration drip to our highest-dose NAD+ and Vitamin C IVs, the protocols are not pulled from the internet. They are reviewed by a dual-credentialed physician with 25 years of clinical experience.

Every Client Is Cleared

Before any client gets an IV, our Medical Director or a contracted provider runs a Good Faith Exam. They review your history, your medications, your goals, and confirm the IV is safe for you specifically. Dr. Weiss's cardiology background makes this review more thorough than the industry standard.

Every Higher-Dose IV Is Personally Approved

Some IVs need closer review. Vitamin C above 10g requires G6PD blood testing. NAD+ doses are tailored per client. Pregnancy-related IVs require OB clearance. Dr. Weiss is involved in every decision.

Dr. Weiss's Clinical Focus

Beyond his role as Medical Director here, Dr. Weiss splits his time between private practice and Global Medical, the NGO he founded. His clinical and research interests include:

• Integrative cardiology and natural approaches to heart health

• Longevity medicine and mitochondrial health

• Osteoporosis

• Tremor, neuropathy, and other mitochondrial disorders

• Inflammation and chronic disease

• Genetics and personalized medicine

Dr. Weiss has lectured on these topics in 40 states and 12 countries. His work has been published in over a hundred articles and research papers.

The Care Model

Every visit follows the same model. RN every visit. Medical Director every protocol. Here is what that means.

Our registered nurses handle the IV itself. They are trained, licensed, and skilled in mobile IV care. They check your vitals, set up the drip, run the IV, and watch over you the whole time. They are also free to flag anything they see during the visit.

Dr. Weiss handles the medical calls. He approves every protocol, reviews every Good Faith Exam, and signs off on higher-dose IVs and complex cases. When our RNs flag something, the Medical Director is the next call.

Together, this model gives you both the ease of mobile care and the safety of real physician oversight from a 25-year cardiologist. It is not common in the IV therapy world. It is one of the things that makes The Good Life IV different.

Real Care. Real Oversight. Real Wellness.

Book your IV with confidence. RN every visit. Medical Director every protocol.
