IV add-on Amino Blend
Building blocks for recovery.
Medically cleared by Mellisa Kerchief, NP, our Medical Director
Amino acids are what your body uses to build and repair muscle. Hard workouts, long hikes, and long weeks use them up. Add our amino blend to any IV drip. A registered nurse gives it at our Biltmore studio or at your door.

What is an amino blend add-on?
An amino blend add on is a mix of amino acids in your IV bag. It costs $32 at our studio and $35 on a mobile visit. It drips in with your fluids. No extra time. We do not offer it as a shot on its own. A registered nurse gives every drip.
What amino acids do in your body
Think of amino acids as building blocks. Your body links them together to make protein. Protein makes muscle, skin, hair, and the tools your cells use every day. When you work out, tiny bits of muscle break down. Your body uses amino acids to repair them.
Your body makes some amino acids on its own. Others have to come from food. Meat, eggs, beans, and dairy have them. A hard week can use them faster than you eat them. So can a long hike or a race. Some amino acids also help your body make energy and stay sharp.
An IV puts them right into your blood. No shake to mix. No stomach to wait on.
What it is not. This is support for recovery. It is not a muscle builder. It is not a weight loss shot. Muscle comes from training, protein, and rest. We just help you bounce back.

- Book online, call, or textPick your drip. Add amino blend at checkout or tell your nurse.
- First visit? You do a short video call with a nurse practitioner. It takes about five minutes and is good for one year. Read about the Good Faith Exam.
- Your nurse arrivesThey check your blood pressure and pulse and ask about your health.
- The dripYour nurse adds the amino blend to your bag. It drips with the rest. Most drips take 45 to 60 minutes.
- DoneEat a good meal and get some sleep. That is when repair happens.
Safety first
Is it safe?
Yes, for most people. Amino acids are in every protein you eat.
- A registered nurse gives every IV.
- Our nurse practitioner reviews every order and sets the dose.
- Sterile, single use supplies.
- We ask about your health and your medicines first.
Who should skip it or ask first: people with kidney or liver disease. People with a condition that changes how the body handles protein. Anyone with a known allergy to any amino acid. Pregnant or nursing? Ask your provider first. Our nurse practitioner decides.
This is a wellness service. It does not treat any disease or injury. A sharp pain or a swollen joint needs a doctor, not a drip.
