IV add-on

Mineral Blend

The minerals you sweat out.

Medically cleared by Mellisa Kerchief, NP, our Medical Director

Trace minerals are tiny amounts of minerals your body needs every day. You lose them in sweat. Add our mineral blend to any IV drip. A registered nurse gives it at our Biltmore studio or at your door.

What is a mineral blend add-on?

A mineral blend add on is a mix of trace minerals in your IV bag. It costs $32 at our studio and $35 on a mobile visit. It drips in with your fluids. No extra time. We do not offer it as a shot. A registered nurse gives every drip.

What trace minerals do in your body

Your body needs some minerals in big amounts. Calcium and magnesium are two. It needs others in tiny amounts. Those are the trace minerals. Tiny does not mean weak. They help your immune cells work. They help make energy. They help skin, hair, and nails. They help your body heal.

Minerals and electrolytes. Electrolytes are minerals too. Sodium and potassium are the big ones. They keep water in the right places in your body. Every bag we make has electrolytes. The mineral blend adds the trace minerals on top.

Heat. You lose more than water when you sweat. You lose minerals too. A summer day here can drain you. So can a long day on the golf course.

Meals on the run. Food is where minerals come from. Fast food and skipped meals leave gaps. Many busy people run a little low and never know it.

More is not better with minerals. Our nurse practitioner sets the dose.

  • You eat on the run or skip meals.

Safety first

Is it safe?

Yes, for most people, at the right dose. Minerals are things your body needs. But more is not better.

  • A registered nurse gives every IV.
  • Our nurse practitioner reviews every order and sets the dose.
  • Sterile, single use supplies.
  • We ask about your health and your medicines first.
  • Tell us about any mineral pills you take.

Who should skip it or ask first: people with kidney disease. People with a condition that makes the body store too much of a mineral. Anyone with a known allergy to any mineral in the blend. Pregnant or nursing? Ask your provider first. Our nurse practitioner decides.

This is a wellness service. It does not treat any disease. Think you are low on a mineral? Ask your doctor for a blood test.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering? Text us or call (480) 674-8268.

How much does a mineral IV add on cost?

$32 at our Biltmore studio and $35 mobile. Add it to any drip. The Hydrate IV is $150 and makes a simple base. Members pay half on the add on.

Do you do IV trace elements near me?

Yes. See the full service area.

What is in the mineral blend?

A blend of trace minerals in one vial. Ask us for the full list when you book.

Is this the same as electrolytes?

No. Electrolytes like sodium and potassium are in every bag we make. The mineral blend adds trace minerals on top of those.

Does it help cramps?

Cramps often come from lost fluids and lost minerals. A drip with the mineral blend puts both back. For cramps, many people add magnesium too.

Can I get minerals as a shot?

No. We give the mineral blend in the IV bag only.

Can I add it to any IV?

Yes. It goes in every bag on our menu. The Ultimate IV already has it inside.

I take a multivitamin. Do I still need it?

Pills go through your gut. An IV skips that step. Tell the nurse practitioner what you take so they can set the dose.

How often can I get it?

Some people add it to every drip in summer. Our nurse practitioner sets a plan that fits you.

Can I get too much?

Yes. More is not better with minerals. That is why our nurse practitioner sets the dose.

Does insurance cover it?

No. Most HSA and FSA cards work for eligible services. We take all major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. See HSA and FSA details.

Put back what the heat took.

Add mineral blend to your next drip. Same day is usually open.
