A registered nurse comes to you. You get a full liter of fluids, anti nausea medicine, and vitamins. Plus a stomach acid reducer and pain medicine. It is built for food poisoning and the stomach flu. Any bug that will not let you keep water down. We also call it the Stomach Bug IV.
The Food Poisoning IV is a one liter drip for stomach bugs. It has fluids, electrolytes, B complex, and vitamin C. It also has anti nausea medicine, a stomach acid reducer, and anti inflammatory pain medicine. It goes straight into your blood and skips your stomach. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes. It costs $260 mobile or $230 at the studio.
What’s in the bag
Doses are set by our nurse practitioner. Your nurse can leave out any item you do not want. Tell us about kidney problems, ulcers, or blood thinners. We may leave out the pain medicine.
Puts back the water and salts you lost from throwing up and the runs. This is the fix for the dizzy, weak feeling.
Settles your stomach in about 15 minutes. This is what lets you keep water down after.
Calms the burning and the sour stomach.
Eases the cramps, the body aches, and the headache.
Puts back the B vitamins you lost. Helps your energy come back.
Supports your body while it fights off the bug.
Pick any two and this is your drip.
Food poisoning comes from bad food or water. It hits fast, often within hours. It usually passes in a day or two.
Stomach flu is a virus in your gut. It has nothing to do with the real flu. It spreads from person to person. It lasts one to three days.
Norovirus is the most common stomach virus. It spreads fast on cruise ships, in schools, and at home. One person gets it, then everyone does.
Travel stomach comes from new food and water on a trip. Cruise ships, Mexico, and long flights are common causes.
The good news? The bag is the same for all of them. Fluids, anti nausea medicine, and rest are what your body needs.
Most people feel the anti nausea medicine in 15 to 20 minutes. The stomach settles. Then the fluids catch up. The dizzy, weak feeling fades. By the end of the bag, most people can sip water and keep it down. Many eat a little that night.
Here is why it beats sipping fluids. When you have a stomach bug, your stomach rejects almost everything. Water comes back up. Pills come back up. Even if it stays down, your gut is too upset to absorb much. An IV skips all of that. The fluids and medicine go straight in.

An IV at home is for a normal stomach bug. Some signs mean you need more than we can give. Go to the ER or call 911 for any of these.
The ER can run tests and check for other causes. Then call us to recover after.
Safety first
Yes, when a nurse gives it and a provider signs off. That is how we do it every time.
Who should skip it or ask first: people with heart, kidney, or liver disease. People with stomach ulcers or on blood thinners should tell us. We may leave out the pain medicine. Anyone who is pregnant should call their OB and see our Morning Sickness IV.
This is a wellness service. We do not treat severe dehydration or infections that need antibiotics. For the warning signs above, go to the ER.
VIP membership
$259 a month for one free IV every month (up to $329 in value), three free booster add-ons, 20% off additional IVs, and no long-term contract. For studio visits.
