Over 6,500 feet. Guests from lower places feel it on day one. Headache, tired, bad sleep. An IV helps with the dry, dragging feeling many visitors get.
Ranch lots mean fences, hay, horses, and long days outside. Nobody drinks enough water out there. A Hydrate IV at the end of the day puts it back.
Edgewood people drive 30 miles to Albuquerque and 30 miles back. Every day. Add the wind and the dry air. By Friday the tank is empty. We come to you after work.
Kids’ games, school weeks, and cold season. The grown ups get worn down first. The Myers Cocktail is our immune support drip. A monthly one keeps parents going.
Winters out here are cold and the air is bone dry. Furnaces and wood stoves dry it more. You lose water and never feel thirsty. Then the headache shows up.
