The 1 pm sun
Most Cactus League games start at 1:05 pm. That is the hottest part of the day. You sit in it for three hours. Late March games can hit 90 or even 100. You sweat out water and salt without noticing.

Medically cleared by Mellisa Kerchief, NP, our Medical Director
Cactus League Spring Training 2027 runs February 19 to March 23. Fifteen MLB teams. Ten ballparks. About 230 games across the Phoenix metro. Our registered nurses bring IV drips to your hotel, rental, or home near every park. Same day. No travel fee in most of the Valley.
It is a one liter IV drip given by a registered nurse at your hotel, rental, or home during the Cactus League season. The most booked drips are the Hangover IV ($295) and the Hydrate IV ($150). Fluids, vitamins, and medicine go right into your blood. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes. Most fans feel better before the bag is done.

Spring Training is a vacation with baseball in it. You fly in from Chicago or Seattle or Denver. You sit in the sun at 1 pm with a beer. Then you go to Old Town or Mill Avenue. Then you do it again. Four days in a row.
Your body does not love that. The Arizona air is dry. The sun is strong even in February. The beer adds up. By day three most fans are dragging.
We come to your hotel room, your rental, or your friend’s house. You get a full liter of fluids, vitamins, and the medicine you need. One hour later you are ready for first pitch.
Most Cactus League games start at 1:05 pm. That is the hottest part of the day. You sit in it for three hours. Late March games can hit 90 or even 100. You sweat out water and salt without noticing.
Phoenix air is dry all year. You lose water with every breath. Fans from humid cities feel it the most. Dry lips, dry eyes, and a headache by the seventh inning.
Spring Training is relaxed. So is the drinking. Beer pulls water out of you. It burns through B vitamins. That is the headache the next morning.
The game ends at 4. The night starts at 6. Old Town Scottsdale and Mill Avenue in Tempe are packed every night in March. Late nights on top of sun days add up fast.
Most fans fly in from cold cities. The cabin air dries you out. The time change throws you off. You land tired before the first game.
When you are dry and hungover, your stomach is slow. Water sits there. Only a little gets to your blood right away. An IV skips the stomach and goes right to work.

“We kept calling around last minute for an IV spot and thankfully the good life was able to squeeze us in. They saved us on the last day of M3F music festival this year.”
“Riley was very accommodating, punctual, and professional. She made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire IV process.”
“I’ve been going to Good Life IV for a while now, and I can’t say enough good things about them. The entire team genuinely cares about their patients and always takes the time to explain everything and make sure you’re comfortable.”
