Why skiers and foothill folks book an IV

The climb from town

You leave the valley and click in at 6,150 feet. That is a big jump in one short drive. Many skiers feel it by lunch.

Above the inversion

In winter, cold air and fog can sit on the valley for days. Bogus Basin often sits in the sun above the cloud deck. People drive up to escape the gray. They come home dry and tired. Back in the valley, dry indoor heat brings headaches. The Migraine IV is made for those weeks.

Night skiing after work

The lifts run late. Lots of Boise folks ski after work. Then they are up early the next day. A Myers is a good fit for a long season.

Legs that burn

A full day on 2,600 acres works every muscle. The Athletic Performance IV has an amino blend and magnesium.

Summer in the foothills

The Ridge to Rivers trails are busy all summer. Hikers and riders head out from the North End and Table Rock. July highs run near 91.

How it works

How a mobile IV visit works after skiing

  1. Book from the chairlift or the carBook online, call, or text. Tell us where you will be when you get down.
  2. Quick video callBefore your first IV you do a short video call with a nurse practitioner. She takes your history and writes your order. It takes about five minutes and it is good for one year. It is how we do it in every state.
  3. We meet youSame day or next day. Your nurse comes to your home, cabin, hotel, or rental.
  4. Warm up and dripVitals first. Then 45 to 60 minutes on the couch. NAD+ takes 2 to 4 hours.
  5. Rest upYour nurse packs up. You rest for the next day on the hill.

Groups, visitors, and corporate

A ski club after a night session. A family ski week in a rental. A work team after a company ski day. Groups of 4 or more save 10 to 20 percent. See group IV therapy.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering? Text us or call (480) 674-8268.

How much does an IV cost after a day at Bogus Basin?

Drips run $150 to $595. The Hydrate IV is $150. The Athletic Performance IV is $285. Boosters are $35.

Can you come to the ski area?

No. We come to homes and cabins along Bogus Basin Road. We also meet you back in Boise at home, a hotel, or a rental.

Does an IV help with the altitude?

It helps with the dry, dragging feeling after a hot day on the river or a cold week under the inversion. A ski day is a 3,400 foot climb. The air up top is thin and dry. Fluids help. Serious symptoms like confusion or trouble breathing are an emergency. Call 911.

How fast can a nurse get to me?

Same day or next day, we confirm when you book. Powder days and holiday weeks fill up. Book early.

Is there a travel fee?

A travel fee may apply. We confirm before we book.

When does Bogus Basin open this season?

It is not announced yet. It is expected Thanksgiving weekend, November 27 to 29, 2026.

Do you come to Hidden Springs and the North End?

Yes. We also go to Avimor and homes near Table Rock.

Which drip should I get after skiing?

Dry and wiped out, the Hydrate IV. Sore legs, the Athletic Performance IV. Headache from the gray valley air, the Migraine IV. Not sure? Text us.

Can you do a group at our ski rental?

Yes. One nurse cares for up to 4 people at once. We send more nurses for bigger groups. Groups of 4 or more save 10 to 20 percent.

Do I need a doctor’s order?

Our nurse practitioner writes it after a short video call.

Do you take HSA or FSA?

Yes, for eligible drips. We also take major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Is it safe?

Yes. A registered nurse gives every drip. A nurse practitioner orders it. We check vitals first and use sterile supplies.
