A registered nurse comes to your home here and sets everything up for the drip.
Seventeen founding members started it in 1955 on the 295-acre Heckendorf Farm and named the club for the state flower. The town incorporated on July 2, 1959. In July 1967 the club hosted the PGA Championship, which Don January won in an 18-hole Monday playoff.
Bow Mar, another small town, sits a short drive north, and we come there too. A short health check comes first, and the drip lasts about 45 to 60 minutes.
