Why east side locals book an IV

Military families near Nellis

Nellis Air Force Base sits 8 miles northeast of downtown. About 14,000 military and civilian people work there. Long duty days and summer PT in 100 degree heat wear you down. We come to your home off base. We do not come on base.

Shift work

The east side runs on shift work. Casino floors on Boulder Highway. The Strip. The hospitals. Nights and doubles throw off your sleep and your water. A monthly Myers Cocktail on a day off helps you feel like yourself.

The desert on the east edge

Sunrise Mountain and the desert hills sit right at the edge of the neighborhood. Hikers head out early to beat the sun. By 9 am it can already be hot. A Hydrate IV or the Athletic Performance IV helps after a hot hike.

The Speedway next door

Las Vegas Motor Speedway sits north of Nellis. NASCAR weekends bring big crowds. EDC fills it for two weekends in May 2027. East side homes and rentals are a short ride away. Late nights in the heat call for the Hangover IV.

Summer at home

June to September brings days over 100 almost every day. Yard work and errands in that heat add up. Headaches and cramps come first. Heat illness with confusion is an emergency. Call 911.

What we do not treat. We are a wellness service. We do not treat emergencies. Heat illness is one. Look for confusion, no sweating, fainting, or a very high temperature. Chest pain and trouble breathing are too. If it is an emergency, call 911 or go to MountainView, UMC, or Sunrise Hospital.
