Why people book an IV out here

Heat on the trails

The rock soaks up sun all day. In summer the valley tops 100 almost every day. Out on an open trail there is little shade. You can sweat through your water before you turn back. A Hydrate IV at your hotel helps you catch up.

Climbers

Red Rock draws climbers from all over. The Red Rock Rendezvous climbing festival is held each spring. Long days on the wall mean sore hands, tight backs, and not enough water. The Athletic Performance IV helps you recover for day two.

Cyclists on the scenic drive

The 13 mile scenic drive is one way and hilly. Riders also roll out on Blue Diamond Road. Dry wind pulls water out of you with every mile. Cramps and a headache show up after. Magnesium and fluids help.

Hikers in Cottonwood Valley

The Cottonwood Valley trails sit near Blue Diamond. They are open and exposed. Early starts help. By noon it can be brutal. Heat illness with confusion or no sweat is an emergency. Call 911.

Blue Diamond locals

Blue Diamond is an old gypsum mining village. It is small and quiet, far from the city. The old Bonnie Springs site is just up the road. So is Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. We bring the nurse to your door. A monthly Myers can come to you.

Day trippers from the Strip

Many visitors drive out from the Strip for a sunrise hike. Then they go back for a night out. That mix is rough on your body. A Hangover IV or Hydrate IV in your room the next morning helps.

How it works

How a mobile IV visit works near Red Rock

  1. Book online, call, or textPick your drip, your home or hotel, and a time. Book online in about two minutes. Plan it for after your hike or climb.
  2. Quick video callNevada requires a Good Faith Exam before your first IV. It is a short video call with a nurse practitioner. About five minutes. Good for one year. Do it before you hit the trail. Good Faith Exam details.
  3. Your nurse drives outYou get a text when your nurse leaves. Vitals come first when they arrive.
  4. The dripMost drips take 45 to 60 minutes. NAD+ takes 2 to 4 hours. Put your feet up.
  5. DoneYour nurse packs out every bit of trash, just like on the trail.

Groups, visitors, and corporate

A climbing crew in a rental house. A cycling club after a long ride. A hiking group back from Cottonwood Valley. A company team that did a sunrise hike. One nurse cares for up to four people at a time. Bigger groups get more nurses.

Four to six people save 10 percent each. Seven to ten save 15 percent. Eleven or more save 20 percent. Details are on group IV therapy.

Safety first

Safety

  • A registered nurse licensed in Nevada starts every IV.
  • A nurse practitioner licensed in Nevada reads your history and signs your order.
  • Every visit uses new sterile supplies, used once.
  • Vitals first, then the drip.
  • We ask about your health, your medicines, and how hard you pushed today.
  • We come to homes, hotels, and rentals only. Never a trailhead.

What we do not treat. We are a wellness service, not a rescue team. Heat illness is an emergency. Signs are confusion, no sweating, fainting, or a very high temperature. A bad fall or trouble breathing is an emergency too. If it is an emergency, call 911; the nearest hospitals are Summerlin Hospital and MountainView.
