What is a biotin add-on?
A biotin add on is biotin mixed into your IV bag. It costs $32 at our studio and $35 on a mobile visit. You can also get biotin as a shot for $32. The shot takes about five minutes. A registered nurse gives both.
What biotin does in your body
Biotin is vitamin B7. It helps your body turn food into energy. It also helps make keratin. Keratin is the protein your hair, skin, and nails are made of. That is why biotin shows up in so many beauty products.
Eggs, nuts, and greens have biotin. Most people get some from food. But hair and nails grow slowly. People who want to support them often add more. A shot or an IV skips your gut. The biotin goes right to work.
Brides and big events. Hair and nails take time to grow. So brides often start a few months out. Biotin and glutathione are a common pair before a wedding, a shoot, or a trip. See our wedding and bridal IV page.
Biotin is not a fix for hair loss. Many things can cause hair loss. If you are losing hair, see your doctor first.

Safety first
Is it safe?
Yes, for most people. Biotin is a vitamin. Extra biotin that you do not use leaves in your urine.
- A registered nurse gives every shot and every IV.
- Our nurse practitioner reviews every order.
- Sterile, single use supplies.
- We ask about your health and your medicines first.
Tell your doctor before blood work. Biotin can throw off some lab tests. That includes thyroid tests and some heart tests. Tell your doctor you get biotin before any blood work. They may ask you to pause it before the test.
Who should skip it or ask first: anyone with a known allergy to biotin. Pregnant or nursing? Ask your provider first.
This is a wellness service. It does not treat hair loss or any skin condition.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Still wondering? Text us or call (480) 674-8268.
How much does a biotin shot cost?
$32 at our Biltmore studio or added to a mobile visit. As an IV add on it is $32 studio and $35 mobile. Members pay half.
Do you do biotin shots near me?
Yes. See the full service area.
Does biotin help hair grow?
It supports keratin, the protein your hair is made of. Hair grows slowly, so give it a few months. It is not a fix for hair loss.
What is the hair, skin, and nails shot?
That is biotin. Some people pair it with glutathione for skin. Both are $32 as shots.
How often should I get it?
Many people come once a week or once a month. Our nurse practitioner helps you pick a plan.
Shot or add on, which is better?
The shot is quick and cheap on its own. The add on makes sense when you want fluids too. Both put the same biotin in your body.
Can I add biotin to any IV?
Yes. It goes in every bag on our menu. The Beauty Glow IV and The Good Life IV already have it inside.
When should I start before my wedding?
Two to three months out if you can. Hair and nails need time to grow. Weekly shots are an easy plan.
Will biotin mess up my blood tests?
It can. Thyroid and some heart tests are the big ones. Tell your doctor before any blood work.
Can I get a biotin shot?
Yes. Or come to the studio.
Does the shot hurt?
A small pinch. It is over in seconds.
Does insurance cover it?
No. Most HSA and FSA cards work for eligible services. We take all major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. See HSA and FSA details.
Strong hair and nails start here.
