What is the Jet Lag IV?

The Jet Lag IV is a one liter drip for tired travelers. It has fluids, electrolytes, B complex, B12, an amino acid blend, and magnesium. It goes straight into your blood. It takes about 45 to 60 minutes. It costs $205 mobile or $175 at the studio.

What’s in the bag

What’s in the Jet Lag IV

Doses are set by our nurse practitioner. Your nurse can leave out any item you do not want.

Sterile fluids and electrolytes

Puts back the water you lost to cabin air. Helps the headache and the dry, puffy feeling.

B complex

Helps your body turn food into energy. Travel burns through these.

Vitamin B12

Helps with the foggy, flat feeling after a long flight.

Amino blend

The building blocks your muscles need after hours in a cramped seat.

Magnesium

Helps tight muscles relax. Helps you settle down and sleep at the right time.

Signs you need a Jet Lag IV

Travel fatigue is real. Pick any two and this is your drip.

  • You feel foggy and slow.
  • Your head aches.
  • You are wide awake at 3 am and dead tired at 3 pm.
  • Your mouth and skin feel dry.
  • Your legs feel heavy and stiff.
  • Your stomach is off.
  • You feel puffy or bloated from the flight.
  • You have no energy for the trip you planned.
  • You have a meeting, a game, or a wedding tomorrow.

How fast does it work?

Most people feel a lift in 20 to 30 minutes. The fluids work first. The headache and dry feeling ease. Then the B vitamins kick in. By the end of the bag, most people feel clear enough to go to dinner. Many sleep better that night.

Here is why it beats coffee and water. Coffee gives a short lift, then a crash. It also dries you out more. Water is good, but your gut absorbs it slowly. And after a flight you are often too tired to drink enough. An IV gives you the full liter, plus the vitamins, in under an hour.

One honest note. An IV does not reset your body clock. Only time, daylight, and sleep do that. But the IV takes away the dry, foggy, achy part. That makes the reset a lot easier.

Jet Lag IV for groups

Safety first

Is the Jet Lag IV safe?

Yes, when a nurse gives it and a provider signs off. That is how we do it every time.

  • A registered nurse gives every IV.
  • Our nurse practitioner reviews every protocol.
  • Sterile, single use supplies.
  • We check your vitals before we start.
  • We ask about your health and your medicines first.

Who should skip it or ask first: people with heart, kidney, or liver disease. Anyone who is pregnant (see our Morning Sickness IV instead). Anyone with a known allergy to any item in the bag.

This is a wellness service. Some things after a long flight are serious. Chest pain. Trouble breathing. A swollen, painful calf. Call 911 or go to the ER for those.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering? Text us or call (480) 674-8268.

I land on a red eye at 5 am. How soon can you come?

Mobile starts at 8 am. Book the first visit of the day and rest until your nurse gets there.

Should I get it before or after my flight?

After is best. Your body is dry and tired when you land. Some people book a Hydrate IV before a long trip too.

Will it fix my sleep?

It helps you feel less wrecked, so you can stay up until a normal bedtime. Your body clock still needs a day or two of daylight and sleep to reset.

How long does it take?

45 to 60 minutes from the time the nurse starts the drip. Add NAD+ and it takes longer.

What is the difference between this and the Hydrate IV?

The Hydrate IV is fluids and electrolytes only, for $150. The Jet Lag IV adds B complex, B12, amino acids, and magnesium. Those are the energy pieces.

I live here and just got home from Europe. Is this for me?

Yes. Coming home is often harder than going.

Can I drive after?

Yes. Nothing in this bag makes you sleepy. Your nurse will tell you if an add on could make you drowsy.

Does insurance pay for it?

No. Most HSA and FSA cards work. We take all major cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Do I need a doctor’s note?

No. You need a short video call with a nurse practitioner before your first IV. It takes about five minutes. You can do it from the airport.
