Why people in Ogden book an IV

Snowbasin and the valley resorts

Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Nordic Valley are all in the mountains east of town. Snowbasin held the downhill, combined and super-G at the 2002 Winter Olympics. After a long ski day, a nurse can bring fluids to you at home.

Hot summers, long winters

Ogden summers are hot and fairly dry. Snow can fall from late October into April. Both seasons wear on you, and the Hydrate IV is a simple place to start.

Long shifts

The IRS, McKay-Dee Hospital and Weber State are some of Ogden’s biggest employers. After a double shift or a week of deadlines, the nurse comes to your place so you do not have to go anywhere.

Race and festival weekends

The Ogden Marathon, the Harvest Moon Festival and Ogden Winterfest all bring crowds into town. If you ran the marathon or stayed out late on 25th Street, a drip at home gets fluids back in without a trip out.

In town for a conference or a ski trip

Several downtown hotels sit close to the Eccles Conference Center. Travel days and long meetings add up. A nurse can set up the IV in your hotel room.
