What is the anti inflammatory pain medicine add-on?

It is a strong pain medicine with no narcotic in it. It is in the same family as aspirin and ibuprofen. It goes into your IV line or your muscle. No pill to keep down. It eases headaches, body aches, and swelling. Most people feel it in 30 to 60 minutes. You get one dose per visit. Our nurse practitioner orders it after your health check. The shot is $32.

What anti inflammatory pain medicine does in your body

When you are hurt or sick, your body makes chemicals that cause pain and swelling. This medicine slows those chemicals down. Less swelling. Less pain. It works all over your body. So it helps a headache and sore legs at the same time.

It is non narcotic. It will not make you high or sleepy. There is no habit risk.

Most people feel it in 30 to 60 minutes. Relief lasts for several hours.

We give one dose per visit. That is a safety rule. Your stomach and kidneys need a break between doses.
