A registered nurse comes to you. You get a full liter of fluids and electrolytes. It also has an amino blend, B vitamins, magnesium, vitamin C, and glutathione. It is built for the day before a race and the day after.
The Athletic Performance IV is a one liter recovery drip. It has fluids, electrolytes, an amino blend, B complex, B12, magnesium, vitamin C, and glutathione. It puts back what a hard workout takes out. It takes 45 to 60 minutes. It costs $285 mobile or $255 at the studio.
What’s in the bag
Doses are set by our nurse practitioner. Your nurse can leave out any item you do not want.

Amino acids are the building blocks of muscle. They help your muscles repair after hard work.
Helps your body turn food into energy. Supports your nerves.
Helps with the tired, flat feeling after a big effort.
Helps muscles relax. Eases cramps and twitches. Supports sleep the night after a race.
Helps your body repair and deal with the stress of training.
Your body’s main antioxidant. Helps clean up after a long, hard day.
Pick any two and this is your drip.
Both work. It depends on your goal.
| Timing | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pre event (pre workout IV) | 1 to 2 days before the race or game | Start with a full tank of water and salts. Top up your vitamins. Sleep well the night before. |
| Post event (post workout IV) | Same day or the next morning | Put back what you lost. Ease the cramps and soreness. Bounce back for the next day. |
| Big training block | Once a week during the hardest weeks | Keep your legs fresh when the volume is high. |
Some runners book both. One drip two days before. One drip the morning after. Text us and we will set it up.
Most people feel a change in 20 to 30 minutes. The fluids and salts go in first. Heavy legs get lighter. The headache fades. By the end of the bag, most people feel steady and clear. The amino blend keeps working over the next day.
Here is why it beats a sports drink. When you drink, your gut has to move the water into your blood. That takes hours. After a hot race, your gut is slow. An IV skips that step. Almost all of it goes to work right away.

Safety first
Yes, when a nurse gives it and a provider signs off. That is how we do it every time.
Who should skip it or ask first: people with heart, kidney, or liver disease. Anyone who is pregnant. Ask your OB, and see our Morning Sickness IV. Anyone with a known allergy to any item in the bag. Adults only. If you compete under anti doping rules, check with your team first. Some sports limit IVs outside a hospital.
This is a wellness service. We do not treat heat stroke. If someone is confused, has stopped sweating, or passes out in the heat, call 911. After surgery, see our post surgery recovery page. That one always needs your surgeon’s okay.

Most cramps come from lost water, salt, and magnesium. This bag puts all three back. Most people feel their legs settle before the bag is done.
It helps. The fluids, magnesium, and amino blend all support muscle repair. It does not erase a hard effort. You still need sleep and food.
