Why Las Vegas people book an IV

The desert air

Humidity here averages about 30 percent. Summer afternoons drop to single digits. You lose water with every breath.

The heat

From June to September, most days top 100. Most summers bring a 110 degree day. Heat illness is an emergency. Confusion, no sweat, or fainting means call 911.

Pool days

Hours in the sun. Drinks come fast. Water comes slow. A Hydrate IV in your room sets you back up.

Walking between resorts

The resorts look close. They are bigger than they look. Most visitors walk miles a day. Cramps follow.

Late nights and early flights

Shows, clubs, and the tables. Then a 5 a.m. ride to Harry Reid. A Jet Lag IV or a Hangover IV before you fly helps you get home in better shape.

Convention weeks

CES, SHOT Show, NAB, SEMA, and MAGIC fill the Convention Center and the Venetian Expo. Miles of show floor. Client dinners every night.

Locals who live here all year

Summer heat wears you down. Flu season hits in winter. Many locals book a monthly Myers Cocktail for $225 to stay ahead of it.

The menu

Every drip, at your door in Las Vegas
