Why Paradise people book an IV

The desert never lets up

Rain here is only about 4.2 inches a year. Humidity averages about 30 percent. July highs sit near 105. Locals get used to it, but their bodies still lose water.

Shift work on and off the Strip

Paradise runs 24 hours a day. Dealers, cooks, housekeepers, and valets work nights and doubles. A drip on your day off helps.

Airport days

Harry Reid International sits right next to the south Strip. Travelers and airport workers come and go all day and night.

Campus life at UNLV

Finals week, game nights at the Thomas and Mack Center, and long lab hours. Students and staff near Maryland Parkway get run down.

Trade show weeks

CES, SHOT Show, MAGIC, NAB, and SEMA fill the halls. You walk and talk all day. Then the dinners run late.
